Fiskåbanen 270419. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel, cacao. Flavor is vanilla, caramel, cacao, sugar, licorice, alcohol. -very nice beer.

Holy thick oily stuff. Not that powerful aroma actually for a beer like this. Balanced sweetness with its 10 horsepower. Oily texture. Loads of layers with flavor that popp up when the temperature changes. Toffee, vanilla, dark malt, cocoa and chocolate. Quite well balanced. Nice powerful evening sipper. Dangerously well masked alcohol.

Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, dark malts, butterscotch, grass, toast, caramel, weeds, bark, sour coffee, lactose, chocolate, hints of licorice. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, dark sugar, lactose, minerals, vanilla, dark malts, booze, bark, caramel, chocolate, grass, sour coffee. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh boozy mouthfeel. Kind of boring.

150ml draught at Håndslag. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface, spotty lacing, deep black in the glass. Vanilla chocolate aromas. Similar taste of vanilla chocolate followed by a lingering, warming malty finish. Smooth and well bodied. Enjoying (Oslo 08.02.2018).
