Can. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of straw and hay with a bit of bread underlying. Flavor is similar with a strong straw presence, a bit of hay and a hint of sweetness.

Tap at Pyramid Scheme. Clear pale straw with no head. Light pear, dusty, straw, apple juice, light mineral. Under medium sweet. Under medium bodied with watery feel and fizzy carbonation. More like a weird perry than a lager.

Bottle pour to shaker. Medium, fine-foamed head. Hazy, thin, light, light yellow. Crisp, refreshing. Hops & bitterness match the Strohs, PBR, etc. that my dad drank, but the flavor far surpasses any of those beers. Great beer!

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 8/13/2014. Pours lightly hazy pale straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, rice syrup, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, rice syrup, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, cracker, rice syrup, biscuit, light honey, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester flavors; with a very clean lager flavor and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very nice pale lager! All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
