Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is rich and slightly sweet. Balanced vanilla, coffee and maple nots with a moderately strong malt presence. As it warms more coffee becomes apparent. Pours an oily black, with a very small, moderately thin, mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Low lacing and moderate legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some nice dark chocolate notes. Some light roast with with moderate coffee character. Some medium light maple with light vanilla presence. Moderate bitterness with some light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is full bodied with low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer. Nice adjunct character with good malt notes. Alcohol is well hidden, but the beer isn’t too sweet. Perhaps a bit astringent and slightly ashy in the flavor.

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains with a good amount of coffee and maple with a hint of vanilla. Flavor starts with dark grains, roasted malts and coffee with maple growing through the finish with a touch of vanilla.
