0,66l bottle at home shared with friends. No obvious BB date. black color, small cofffee colored head. smells earthy, licorice, light booze, nutty, marzipan, cofffee. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, licorice, some booze, nutty, some oxidation, grassy. finishes medium roasty bitter with notes of licorice, nutty notes and some oxidation. okish but expected quite a bit more. rather drinkable, but not much more, might be better fresher. 7, 4, 7, 3, 16

Taste is slightly sweet boozy, dark sugar, maple syrup, mild bourbon, bark, dark malts, minerals, old rope, hay, toffee, oak, grass, caramel, weeds. Longlasting bitterness, dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle courtesy of Timo. Black pour with a small mocha head. Heavy roasty nutty nose with bitter chocolate, coffee, hazelnuts & hints of vanilla. Sweet, bitter, malty & roasty taste. Soft, round, astringent & boozy mouthfeel. Pleasant heavy roasty impy.

Tap at the brewpub. Black with nice light brown head. Massive, and I mean massive espresso. Dark chocolate, fudge, caramel, light earthy, oats, raw cocoa. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Great coffee stout.

Bottle - Dark roast and espresso with lots of roast dominating. Jet brown with a rich brown head. Dark roast, dark chocolate, nice coffee roast and a pleasant sweetness. Very nice and well balanced with all the big flavors.

Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours black with medium creamy tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, cocoa, maple, vanilla, wood. Thick, chewy, roast, dark chocolate, maple, wood, light dryness, very nice.
