Bottle. Pours with a nearly black body with a large tan head. Aromas are of roast, lactose, nutty, milk chocolate, esters, alcohol fumes, raisins, dates, odd phenol, leather, milk chocolate, cereal, caramel, nougat and dark fruit. Flavors are dry and bitter with a slightly lactic acid edge. Milk chocolate, leather, red currants, dark fruit (at the time I was rating this, I didn’t know about the adjuncts, and thought it might be a mild infection...I guess not). Fudge, earth, pepper, raisins, mild metallic. Somewhat chalky. Mineral, butter. Low carbonation with a full body.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, hops and strong wood. Flavour brings out roasted malts, hops and wood - some oaked notes. Lingering notes of wood and hops. Most outstanding.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown/black with a slight dark tan head. First aroma was anise. Next was sweetish burnt malt with some darker fruit and coffee. Full bodied. Flavor starts a bit sweet, goes a bit creamy burnt malt, and moves on to dark fruit and coffee. Not getting chocolate. It’s a bit peppery/spicey. Finishes towards dryish and lightly astringent, but each taste starts over sweet. Play it again Caldera.
