Can. It's lightly unclear amber colored beer with a big, dense beige head. Toasted, lightly bonfire-ish aroma with rye bread, some dark dried fruits and a faint earthy note. Some woody hints too, both in aroma and flavor. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and softly carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, rye bread and a touch of burnt down bonfire. Soft finish. Quite nice, but guess it's best with some cured meat or other food. 210131

330ml can from Gulating Advent Calendar #16, nothing wrong with my batch #123. Large creamy, off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Ruby-brown body, close-to-clear. Inviting brown malty aromas, hints of kveik yeast. Comprehensive taste profile of brown malts, earth, juniper, and forest added by kveik. Roasted ending of spiced mid-sweet malts. Foamy in the mouth. Quite pleasing with a Yuletide feel. (Tromsø 18.12.2020).
