We handrafted this cider with natural orchard apples from the Styrian hills and took them on the English Ale yeast ride of their life. Then we added a generous twist of American West Coast Chinook and Centennial hops, and bang, our Wild Tree Hoppy Cider was born. Top notes of bright citrus and tropical fruits are followed by a refreshing full taste and well balanced bitterness.

Great balance between citric, grassy hops and fermented apples. Not too funky, easily drinkable.

Pours clear, light blonde, no head. Smell is dry, apples, bit bitter, aromatic, sharp sour touch as well. Taste is full, bitter/crispy start which imidiately is taken over by a dry/apple/sour ( mildly ) funk . It’s a weird concept, and it sounded more interesting than good, but actually, the taste of this one is quite good ! gives that little something extra that ciders do often miss. Amazing balance, it would be so easy to over-hop this, making the mix in tastes completely ruined. But they succeeded 100 % . respect ! Rather high carbo, but still menagable. Re-rate from horeca expo 2019. Updated the score a bit . Loads of apleskins in the taste, nice cider.

Clear, yellow colored, small white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, some citrus and floral hoppy notes, light cider apple tartness. Taste is medium sweet apple juice, citrus, floral hops and some tropical fruits, medium- bitterness, light tartness. Medium- bodied, lively carbonation, refreshing. Sweet cider, overpowered by the hops in the aroma but well balanced in the flavor. (bottle, Bierboutique, Graz)

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Cloudy pale yellow. Nice aroma of apples, fruity hops, a sulphur note. Tart flavor with a sweetish note, with apples, fruity hops, and a faint bitterish note in the finish. Nice one.

At Craft Bier Fest Wien. Quite interesting. Apple character is overwhelmed by hops IMO. But it makes for an interesting easily drinkable and very moreish drink with citrusy zesty piney hops.
