We handrafted this cider with natural orchard apples from the Styrian hills and took them on the English Ale yeast ride of their life. Then we added a generous twist of American West Coast Chinook and Centennial hops, and bang, our Wild Tree Hoppy Cider was born. Top notes of bright citrus and tropical fruits are followed by a refreshing full taste and well balanced bitterness.

330 ml bottle from Merkur Hoher Markt, Vienna.
Pale straw colored, hazy body, with a tiny, quickly dissipating head.
Aroma of apples, citrus, passion fruit, some other tropical fruits, lemongrass, some berries, candy.
Tastes follows this, with the apples more dominant and slight earthy notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes sweet, moderate bitter, quite dry, with distinctive wild apple notes, citrus, fruity hops.

Very nice. I’m not a big Cider drinker, but this is really tasty and refreshing, with a lovely combination of sweet wild apples and fruity hop notes. Works very well.
