Bottle. Almost black. Malt, caramel, roast, mint, almost medecinal aroma. Malty sweettish, soft roasty flavor. Band aids, caramel, mint. Decent with some off-flavors.

Bottle 7.2% abv at home. Black with nice light brown head that leaves a fizzy layer. Some coffee, chocolate, toffee, light licorice and some herbs in the finish. There’s a bit of fresh fruit too. Medium sweet and bitter. Over edium bodied with a bit creamy feel. Maybe they improved the recipe? I think this is quite a nice strong porter.

Bottle from het Biermoment, batch 20141219 BB June 2016, large sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of roast, bit minerally, slight fruity, earthy, hint of vegetable. Bit dry in taste, roasty, slight malty bitterness, bit licorice. Ok.

Bottle shared by the brewer @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, some hops, pretty yeasty unfortunately and some leaves. Taste malts, lightly roasted malts, only the slightest touch of hops, nicely bitter, a bit earthy. Medium body and carbonation. Aroma needs quite some work, flavor needs more hops to compete with the malts and roast.
