The beer in the glass is slightly opal and has the color of autumn straw. The smell is primarily malty, carried by the typical pithy characteristics of the spelt. Fruity aromas such as apple and peach penetrate through the fine foam. Clearly dominated by the name-giving grain, accompanied by reserved yeast with an elegantly refreshing acidity, this special beer has a pleasant and invigorating effect.

Trübe, sehr helle Farbe. Schaumentwicklung eher gering.

0.33 l bottle from local 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before September 2021. Minimally hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, a bit floral-grassy aroma of grains, light honey and traces of straw. Gently sweet, minimally bitter, malty, slightly floral taste of grains, honey and hints of straw, followed by a short, hardly bitter, a little grainy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Slightly bland but quite quaffable, very mild and inoffensive though.
