A well-balanced brew, our malt-forward Dark Lager is peppered with moderate noble hops that spark spicy, floral notes. Drinkably dry with hints of chocolatey richness, a cozy beer to tuck into. Light roast of chocolate and coffee, biscuit and caramel. Malt-forward, balanced by floral and spicy notes.

Light rust and a little citrus. Dark brown pour with decent headv that sticks around for a bit. Light bitterness and light tang in the finish.

On tap Moody Ales, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some burnt rubber, light roast and some earthiness. Flavour is similar, with some burnt rubber, earthy malt, and a touch of roast. Flawed but not terrible. Alright.

Dark brown body with good foam, slightly murky. Soft coffee and biscuity hops on the nose, some lager sweetness going on. Flavour is mellow smooth biscuit accented by soft hop hints, though a little thin; a narrow profile here, nothing comes out as rich. Worth adding to your cooler for a winter barbeque.
