Our Fresh Hop IPA brewed with Comet hops from Bredenhof Hop Farms in Abbotsford. We used 80lbs of fresh hops that were harvested within hours of our brew to make this out of this world IPA. We started with a healthy dose of hops into the mash, for an added layer of complexity, and then we threw the rest in during the whirlpool.
The result was a mouth watering creation with huge accents of grapefruit, and all the multidimensional aromatics that fresh hops are known for.

On tap at North Point, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is oily, with gentle piney hops, a little butter, and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with piney hops and light diacetyl that ruins this for me. It's not an egregious butter bomb, but there's enough of it to ruin it for me. Poor.

Okay clear gold body and okay foam, very dank oily hops on the nose but somehow they're characterless. Flavour is mellow grain character, plenty of chewy hops, vague lemon hints. Nothing is a 'wow' signal here but it's all edible, as Rocky would say.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Biscuit malt with some light caramel notes, fairly fruity hops with low underlying bitterness.
