This special American Pale Ale is crafted with a specifically cultivated ingredient from The Alnwick Garden in every batch. The hand grown nettles give a subtle earthy texture to this light bodied ale, whilst the hops deliver fruit notes of orange and grapefruit before a spiky bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber, nice lacing. Nose - a bit butterscotch, or at least caramel/toffee up front. Earthiness in there too. Taste - caramel or honey. Dry biscuit bit at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied and a bit cloying. Overall - not great, I'm afraid.
