Bottle. dark brown color. Malt, caramel and soft vinous notes in the nutty aroma. Malty, nutty, caramelly, yet fairly dry flavor. Alcoholic. Warming. Full bodied. Decent.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home shared with my good friends Niels and Willem. Dark amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, a hint of bitter but also a sweet overripe red fruit hint. Somewhat alcoholic but ok.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Murky reddish brown with small beige head. Figs, marzipan, sherry, lots of alcohol, brown sugar, light herbs, lots of candy. Over medium sweet with quite some alcoholic bitterness. Over medium bodied.
