Keg at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A dark cola brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is nice red grape, farmyard, woody funk. Flavour is composed of rounded dark malts, liquorice, nutty, red grape, must,. Warming boozy fruit cake.. Palate is velvet, layered, moderate fine carbonation. Good.

Tap at the brewery. Light chocolate liquor aroma. Dark cola brown. Creamy beige head. Very light bitter. Very malty with a tangy chocolate streak. Booze. Medium bodied. Creamy edging on oily. Flat carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Low key for an Impy Stout but certainly pleasant enough. Carries boozy warmth.

Tried at Anspach. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are rich roasted malty. Surprisingly not too boozy considering the abv.
