Bottled (Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, cinnamon, some mild toffee and some raisins. Flavour is rather similar with some strange berryish notes as well.

Smell of metal. Hazy bronze colour, beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, vanilla, some grain. Mildly sweet. Soft and plentiful carbon. Slightly metallic.

33cl bottle. Deep brown color, thin off white head. Cinnamon, toast, some vanillin in aroma. Flavor has caramel, cinnamon, some metallic notes and some coffee in the otherwise spicy but gentle finish. Quite enjoyable, just enough cinnamon to make it interesting.

Deep ruby color, small beige head. Very metallic, a bit ryeish, cinnamon aroma. Light-bodied. Flavor has both cinnamon and vanilla, taste also metal, coffee and rye. Not my combination. Odd metal vibe.

A very dark brown beer with a dense, medium and light beige head. The nose has bread, some roastiness and honey, nice vanilla. Taste has dark malts, strong spicyness, cinnamon, hint of vanilla. Quite light bodied that should be stronger, not too light anyway. Cinnamon and vanilla are definitely there, quite good beer.

Aroma is somewhat stale and spicy with vanilla pods and hints of licorice. Flavour has lots of cinnamon, some vanilla, licorice, ashy tones and some other spices too. Stronger on flavours than the 6% version, which was served colder though. The ”just a touch of cinnamon” in the description text is a bit inaccurate as it is the dominant flavour here.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20131229) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts, chocolate and cinnamon. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and mildly bitter. The taste was too filled with the additional flavours. Otherwise nicely drinkable brew.

Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Aroma of spices, vanilla, roasted malts and hints of syrup. Taste is smooth, sweet and spicy with notes of vanilla, roasted malts and syrup. FInish is sweetish and spicy with notes of vanilla. Okay, quite sweet and spicy ale.
