Mississippi Gulf Trip. I should of had this coffee stout first because I had a better one before it. Dark brown almost black. Aroma was coffee and dark roasted grains. Taste was also coffee and dark roasted grains.

On tap at Fairhope, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle coffee and a touch of sugars — very timid. Flavour is soft, with a light earthy coffee roast and low-level residual sugars. Very delicate but pleasant and clean. Decent.

12 oz bottle from Macon bottle shop. Dark brown thin bodied beer with coffee nose. Taste is mainly coffee, trails off to astringent chocolate and roasted malt finish. No major league stout certainly, but pretty decent.

12 oz bottle. The beer is very dark brown, black in the middle. Medium light brown head, kinda fizzy. The aroma has some nice milk chocolate flavor and a fairly mild coffee character. Nice cold brew flavor. Not very roasty at all. Taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. No real richness or depth. More roast in the taste. A lot more coffee. Very mild chocolate. A cola flavor that really doesn’t help. The cold brew dominates rather than playing nicely with other flavors. Thin mouthfeel, fairly fizzy. It smells nice but the taste is not what I want out of a coffee stout.
