Served in a snifter at the brewpub, dark brown with tan head. Slight malt aroma, body not as full as it ought to be for this style. Some mild Nice whiskey notes in the taste once the beer has warmed enough. Has an oaky alcohol finish. Decent beer, at the right temperature.
