S’more BBLs is the next up in the BBLs lineage. This member-exclusive beer is one of the world’s highest ABV sour beers; and was conceptualized as a Bruery Terreux homage to our tradition of brewing high gravity, barrel-aged stouts. This big, viscous sour beer is a carefully crafted blend of Tart of Darkness & Black Tuesday, aged with marshmallow, graham crackers, cacao nib, and vanilla. Inspired by the the flavors of the gooey, decadent campfire dessert with which it shares its name. One sip will have you asking for… s’more.

From tap at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is appelstroop with big Bourbon, alcohol, dark fruits, malt, oak, dried fruits, and some notes of chocolate. Quite sweet, boozy and sticky. Warming and pretty brutal, it's over-the-top but I like this.

Bottle, 0.375l. Aroma of bourbon, wood, vanilla, cocoa, dried fruit and roasted malt. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin creamy light brown head, floating yeast particles and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart dried fruity and vinous, following is sweet caramelly, biscuity, roasted and woody, while mouthfeel is warm alcoholic and spicy. Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Strong & Sour…

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, liquorice, berries, funk, chocolate, vanilla, taste is similar, tart, juicy fruit, slightly biscuity. Doesn't taste anywhere near 16%.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, cocoa, marshmellow and vanilla. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Goblet, Zagreb. Black with small beige head. Chocolate, fruity, cherries, sweet, no carbonation. Nicely hidden abv. Bit syrupy. Well hidden abv. Full bodied. Warming. I'm usually sucker for fruity impys, this on is just very good.

Tap, Goblet, Zagreb. Dark brown to black, oily, no head. Intense chocolate syrup with lots of dried fruit, black fruit, raisins, prunes, licorice and herbs. Roasted malts and roasted coffee underneath. Very thick, sticky, candy-like. Sour fruit, dark cherry syrup. Warming. Strong. Alcohol well balanced. Lasting warming hot chocolate finish. There's glue. Dark fruit jam, barbeque sauce. Very smooth. Nicely balanced. Sophisticated. Daring.
