Dark amber to brown color, medium sized creamy head. Mild aroma of caramelized and roasted malts. Semi sweet flavor, with some dark caramel, light spicy and herbal character, light puke impression, and just a bit too much bitterness in the end.
Not bad, but rather messy.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with little head. Aromas of chocolate, brown sugar and malts. Similar flavor with more caramel notes. Smooth and warm. Nice.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, really heavy nutty flavor, caramel and hops. Great brown.

From a stubby bottle with a crazy label. Pour is nice, darker brown. Mildy sweet aroma. First taste is quite strong alky wise with quite a snap of malt. Pretyy good amount of below average sizzle. Medicine finish.

12 oz bottle into mug. Pours a muddy brown with a nice pillowy beige head; leaves some nice lace. Aroma of toast, dark chocolate, cinnamon, SweeTarts candy. Taste is mostly sweet with a hint of bitter. It’s chocolatey, roasty, delicious. Carbonation and body are medium. Different for a winter beer. Different is good.

22 oz. bottle, pours dark brown with a quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma of nuts, light roasted malt, and medium-rich chocolate. The chocolate dominates on the flavour, with light toasted malt and nuts featured secondary. Quite decent winter / brown ale.

Faint chocolate nose. Lots of schmutz beneath the bottle cap. Clear mahogany brown, thin beige head. Earthy, mossy, dirty flavor with horehound overtones. A bit musty and oaky too. Dirt finish. Quite a nice brown ale. Though undated, it is a bottle I know for a fact is well over a year old. It has held up nicely. Bonus point for longevity.

on tap-pours a thick rich tan head with lots of lacing and ruby red color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-roasty, medium fruit. Taste is sweet medium malt-roasty/toffee, medium fruit, spice hops. Finishes dry.
