Thanks fonefan! Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, some nutty tones with biscuity and mild herbal tones. Flavour is toasted, nutty and some biscuity tones as well as mild berries and some herbal tones.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Dark brown, small head. Treacly nose with notes of chocolate. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and treacle. Resinous bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colou rwith ruby shimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly spicy, caramel malty and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, hints of red berries, whiffs of plum. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly yeasty fruity, minimally fruity hoppy, hints of plum and caramel, malt lozenge. Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation; minimally alcoholic finish. Quite fruity, a bit disharmonious - OK.
