Sample (thanks omhper!). Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is coffee, alcohol, dried fruits and some wooden tones with also a mild nuttiness to it. Flavour is toffee, some coffee, mildd herbal wooden and some earthy tones. Smooth and mild alcohol in the aftertaste.

--Bottled, from Beerdome. -- Clear copper colour, rich firm head. Aroma of coffee and biscuits. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Biscuits, caramel and coffee. Long bitter finish. Functional, uncomplicated barley wine.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Intense, sweet-ish, coffee aroma, caramel malty background, a touch of milk chocolate, peanut, whiffs of alcohol. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, notes of coffee, sugared coffee, some milk chocolate, bitter hoppy counterpart; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Not overly complex but harmonious, balanced - simply very tasty!

Bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a off white head. Aroma of coffee, dark caramelized strong malt. Taste of strong caramelized malt, coffee, caramel, wood.
