Lloyd looked upon the mechanised marvel of the modern canning line where his son worked and could only summon one word: Wow. He’d be equally enthused with this, too: a Hazy IPA packed with fresh tropical fruit and citrus flavour thanks to the help of a promising new NZ hop variety.

440ml can from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus, stone fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy citrus, light piney, light pepper spice, light floral, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very drinkable but a few more bittering hops would have improved it for me.
