This ESB ale is a tribute to electrifying the session. It’s a bitter ale, an extra special traditional English classic style, burnt red, clear with a cream-white head, carrying notes of caramel and toffee, with a smooth malt finish.

Can at Tap & Vine, Penwortham. Pours copper with a tight off-white head. Nutty aromas, pine and biscuit. Taste is nicely chewy, nuts and dried mixed peel. Decent example of the style.

Can at home. Amber to reddish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, softly a touch of caramel perhaps, autumn leaves, a hint of tea and moderately bitter. Alrifht body and carbonation. Very solid bitter I'd say.
