Bottle at home from Waitrose. Colour is rich copper red with an off white head. Aroma is caramel, and malt. Flavour is malty, nutty, with caramel and a touch of hops.

Bottle sample at the Great British Beer Festival in Belgrade. Deep amber color. Aroma of sweet burnt caramel malt. Taste is bittersweet and sticky. Light body.

On tap at the Bowl Inn, Almondsbury. Deep amber, with a small foamy head. Aroma of butter and bread. Taste has nice malt and caramel, with a bitter finish.

Dunkel bernstein, wenig Schaum. Geruch nussig malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack trocken malzig fruchtig, Karamell, nussig.

Egenimportert flaske delt med Ovesen: fint beige skum som lander raskt . Klar, kobberfarge. Lett aroma, lett munnfylde - glir ubesværet over drøvelen, og lett bitterhet i ettersmaken. Myk og avrundet. Grei nok, men ingen personlighet.
