Cask at Belushi’s Bath. Pours amber with small head. Malty caramel aroma. Malty flavor, bit spicy.

500ml bottle. Clear copper colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally earthy, malty aroma, a touch of toffee, minimally fruity overtones. Taste is malty with a touch of toffee, fruity hoppy overtones with hints of red berries.

Bottle at home from waitrose. Colour is rich copper red with a reductant off white head. Aroma is caramel, nutty malt and twigs with a slight apple note. Flavour is rich layered malty goodness. Nutty, caramel and biscuit, hops are mellow and earthy. Palate is very good, medium body that melts on the tongue. Tasty malt forward beer.

A nice colour, dark copper, a head is blond and weak. The nose is strongly nutty, toffee adn red berries, hint of citrus. Taste of toffeeish malts, some nuts, hint of berries, mild wooden bitterness in the end. Low carbonation, medium bodied, smooth to drink. Toffeeish and nutty beer, a positively fresh.

Cask at Ales and Tails, Twickenham - 02/03/13. Lightly hazed amber with a food sized frothy off white head. Nose us caramel and toffee, biscuit, light spice. Taste comprises caramel malt, spice, fruits, touch of cereal. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth and pleasant on the palate, bitterness in the finish. Drinkable average bitter.

Blackfriar, Blackfriars 30 Okt 12. Nicholson Festivaløl. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Aroma av frukttyggegummi. Smaken det samme med tilføyelse av søte plommer og antydning til mandler. Kjedelig.
