East Coasts collide and crank it up for this new New England IPA retuned in Scotland. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a hazy appearance and super smooth delivery. Dry-hopped for a full-tilt fruit hit with pineapple, mango and a hint of zesty lime. Low on bitterness, high on haze, heavy on hops.

Can. An unclear orange-yellow beer with a decent white head. Mango, peach, hints of ripe banana, some pineapple and a citrusy touch in the aroma. Grapefruity hops too. It's full-bodied, semi-dry and smooth on the palate, bitter, but not in a dominating way. Some pine cones, but mostly tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, peach, banana and a touch of grapefruit in the flavor. Lasting fruity finish. A pleasant one indeed. Lacks a bit on the refreshing qualities though. 200617

44cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy lemony gold, with fine white foam. Aroma is intensely citrus, mandarin, a little yeasty, hay. Body and carbonation are average. Slightly oily texture. Taste is medium bitter, slight initial sweetness. Final is average.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber with a large rocky off white head that leaves stringy lace. Nose is grass, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and tangerine. Flavour follows with a medium- tropical fruit and citrus peel bitterness. Mouth is medium creamy with slightly soft carbonation. Not as juicy as expected from a NE. 7+/4-/7/3+/14

Can that pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a bubbly-frothy white cap, good stay and some streaky foam lacing. Fairly grassy hops for a NEIPA, cutting into the juiciness. A bit less in the taste, but still too strong. Good bitterness, creating some dryness in the finish. Hazy, but lacking juicy. Good as a West Coast IPA.
