ABV: 8.4%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, milk chocolate, coffee, mocha, coffee bitter - chocolate bitter, cocoa, medium dry. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20210808]

Can from Fin, thanks! Drunk after a very. Long. Day. So it's extremely well earned. Dark with a small head. Sweet brown sugar coffee nose, maple nut crunch, sorry Denis L. Flavor is a fat smooth flavor bomb of dessert goodness: very well blended and balanced. Coffee is present but not bitter or overwhelming. Nutty goodness and molasses too, with a hint of vanilla, don't mind if I do. Just a bit of earthy bitterness, this is slightly more on the sweet side of the force.

440ml can. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste has lots of coffee up front, quite sweet with all that vanilla and chocolate, some roastiness, light bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy smoothness. Very nice, fairly well balanced just a little on the sweet side.

Can (first batch), huge thanks Hrabren for saving it all this time! Pitch black, some off white head. Smooth aroma, coffee, dried fruit, alcohol, some vanilla. Lean taste, well hidden alcohol there, soft cocoa, some coffee here and there, oddly vague citric touches, some mild bitterness. Actually well balanced, and pretty tasty anyway, but would like to try it more fresh.

0.33 l can shared with Little Dina and Marko. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Roasty, burnt, darker roasted coffee, liquorice, fruity notes, red fruit, black olives. Sweet, fruity, coffee with milk, roasty, liquorice, prunes. Alcohol hidden, good balance. Soft texture and carbonation, medium to full body, moderate finish.

Can from Damian Beer and Ale.Almost black with medium beige head. Clear coffee in aroma, together with chocolate, caramel. Taste, dark malt, coffee, vanilla, cocoa nibs, caramel. Long cofee-ish finish. Nice.

Can @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di cioccolato, vaniglia, melassa, caffè, caramello. In bocca non è ben bilanciata, troppo dolce per una coffee porter, anche un poco stucchevole alla lunga, e non ha il giusto corpo, risultando anche leggermente watery. Raggiunge comunque la sufficienza, ma non ci siamo.
