Hooky is a subtly balanced, amber bitter, hoppy to the nose, malty on the palate - the classic session beer, eminently drinkable. Cheers!

Cask at Swan and Castle, Oxford Pours a golden amber with a sparse off-white head and good lacing. A palcid nose with vjust some hints of fruits. In the mouth it has a sweet and fruity taste – almost like a dry cider. Initially marmalade is to the for, but other flavours come through later, Ornages, honey, ginger, with hints of pears and spices. Finish is dry and fruity. A simple beer with a complex taste – interesting !

Cask (Red Lion, Overton) - Golden/light amber in colour. Fruity and slightly floral aroma. The taste is also fruity and floral and features notes of marmalade and sultanas. Quite nice for being so simplistic.
