Mocha is a coffee and chocolate stout sensation. It’s brewed with genuine Arabica coffee, fine Belgian chocolate and locally grown, roasted barley malt. Rich, enticing and well rounded, the coffee and cocoa notes are certain to give your nose and tastebuds a welcome wake-up call.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys Ashford. Thin camp coffee type beer. Yes it’s got some choc and some coffee life, but it’s a bit thin in the body. Nothing wrong with it. Just if you are going to do this style of beer actually through a bit more intensity at it. If you are going to play with the big boys, then bring some noise. It’s fine. It’s a good step in the right direction for this type of brewery. But be big and bold and go for it.

Ever had a Greek Frappé? I chilled my 500ml bottle: this beer is the nearest thing you’ll get to a beer version (in the UK anyway). Poured into a vase shaped glass it looked the part. Dark coffee coloured body with a dirty tanned topping (just like a Frappé). The smell was so coffee, as the taste: I liked it, wouldn’t have wanted another straight away but who has two pints of coffee one after another? It is supposed to be coffee and chocolate in flavour and it is.
