Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light grassy hop citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody hop bitter, light metallic, light sweet palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served on the cool side. More of a golden ale than a bitter. I’d buy this again.

Bottle from Asda. Copper-gold with a thin head. Good pale ale nose that holds most of the fruit flavours in this one. It’s taste is understated but it’s light texture means it’s an easy drinking ale.

Cask @ The Railway, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Has a light drinkable session texture with a light bitterness and a very small fruitiness in its aroma.

Clear golden beer with a thick foamy head. Light citrus aroma with a distinct lemon edge to it. The flavour is initially bittersweet but it doesn’t stay strong for long. It settles into a hoppy, tangy but light flavour with just a touch of malt in the finish. Drinkable but nothing special.

Cask (Black Sheep Visitor Centre, Masham) - Golden with a white head. Lemon, lime and tea in the aroma. Refreshing taste with lemon, tea and a faint hinf of grapefruit detected.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head. Floral aroma with hay, white peaches, oranges, some berries, light spices. Light bodied, rather fizzy. Bittersweet taste with honeyed hay, rather more grapefruity citrus than suggested by the aroma. Dryish and fairly bitter at the end. Hoppy and refreshing. Damn that Tricky-Woo.

500ml Bottle: BBD 28 Sep 14, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 15 Feb 14. Nice looking brew, light amber body with a good head that lasted well. The nose was a blend of light malts, hedgerow fruitiness and woody notes. The taste was also a blend, with the malts just about winning the battle with the hops that have now turned slightly citrus in nature. Dry bittering finish with a long aftertaste. Not too bad at all for a 4.0% ABV session ale.

500ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, toffee. Taste is malty, with caramel, toffee & light citrus notes and some earthy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry metallic bitter finish. Quite OK

500ml bottle shared at a Christmas gathering. Pours clear amber, short-lived white head. Some light floral hop notes, some caramel. Taste is a bit watery and thin. OK as a session beer, but I’d rather sip something with character, than knock back pints of bland stuff.
