Bang!

Tap. Moeder Lambic Fontainas. 7.9% apparently? Hazed, vivid orange gold. Messy, foamy, sticky, bright white head. Good looker. Nose has fruity brett. Tinned grapefruit. Sweet grain. Light caramel. Notes of lime leaf, and fresh green hop. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a bretty, citrus twang. Decent hit of zesty bitterness, too. Medium body. Smooth and slick on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Big twang to finish. Nice one.

On tap at Easy Beer, pours a hazy bronze with a small beige head. Aroma brings out heaps of red wine and brett upfront, with barely a hint of hops. Flavour is a little more IPA-like, with red wine barrels, heavy brett and subdued hopping. Cohesive and nicely integrated. Solid stuff.
