Carlsberg 1883; the amazing story of an old beer bottle found the cellars of the old Carlsberg brewery. Through a complicated scientific process, the scientists in the Carlsberg Research Laboratory managed to grow and purify the original Carlsberg yeast from 1883 from the bottle. This yeast gave the beer its name: Carlsberg 1883.
A copper-coloured beer with a compact head. It has a unique and distinct flavour, and a clean and fresh nose with a delicate hint of malt and caramel.

Tap at Carlsberg Home of Beer. Chestnut. Caramel, bread, roasted, tad of butter. Easy to drink, with caramel, oily. Also they have horses here, you can visit them at the stable or in the garden. And the stuff at the bar was super friendly.

Drinking it from a can, can't say about appearance.
Quite sweet, bready and malty, some nuttiness, flat carbonation. Almost close to being too sweet.

Tap at the Aviator Lounge, Copenhagen Airport. Poured a crystal clear medium amber colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, biscuit dough, toffee, treacle, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
