India Pale Ale is a style that's thankfully seen a massive resurgence and evolution, and this example of it follows loosely the traditional 150+ year old style. Full of Chinook and Brewers Gold, it has an initial dry bitterness, followed by a citrus explosion of complex grapefruit and marmalade flavours. Expedition IPA is named after one of the many ships from the East India Trading Company who would have been shipping IPA in the mid-1800s.

Cask at Hants Oktoberfest 2019. Spicy grainy aroma. Golden. Frothy white head. It's an uber malty IPA. Citrus, spice and malts. Light bodied. Thin. Benefits from soft carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Nice enough.
