In January we had the pleasure of welcoming Neon Raptor Brewing Co. to our little brewery to make a vary special beer. They brought a couple of malt sacks packed with sharp Nottinghamshire Damsons. The combination of wild yeast and juicy acidic fruit has produced a punchy mouth puckering sour beer. It’s a pretty small batch with only a few hundred bottles and a handful of kegs, so get them while you can!

Keg at indy man beer con 2019. A hazed dull orange coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is shaor vinegar sour, damson, cranberry, gooseberry prickly, burn. Palate is semi sweet, vinegar burn, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, lemon rind, woody sour yogurt funk, some citrus acid. Ok.

Bottle from Hoptimism. I’m not a. Oh fan of any plums or damsons but I really like this beer. Fruity aroma with a tart to sour fruity taste. Medium crisp body.
