330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, bready, dark malty aroma. Taste is dry, slightly roasty dark malty, minimally chocolately. Quite boring.

(bottle, 33cl) Opaque colour with a beige and short foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee beans, nuts and toffee. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with earthy and nutty notes, chocolate and hints of toffee and mocha; distinctively nutty and slightly roast-malty finish with hints of chocolate in the aftertaste. Likeable. 13.IX.17

Bottle: Clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing tanned head; moderate sweetish-sourish nose of toasted malt and - yes - cacao, traces of dark malt are detectable, too; moderate dryish - but not bone-dry - sweet-sourish and bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; lingering dryish - as well - toasty and fruity and chocolatey finish. Not bad at all, but far away from - lets say - Fullers Porter...

Tap. Mahogany color, creamy foam. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee drink with chicory, bread crust. Taste: coffee drink from burnt barley and chicory, light sour, caramel, slightly sour milk, lightly burnt bitterness, slightly watery.

Bottle from Rewe Homberg, Dortmund. Fresh and full in flavour, chocolate with hints of coffee. Very nice and round, more on the dry than on the sweetish side. Nice and fresh coffee bittered aftertaste, the chocolate is smooth and highly drinkable.

0,33 l bottle. Nearly black in the glass, one finger pale beige head. Coffee and some licorice on the nose. Taste starts malty, very malty. Some dark berriefruity, caramell and sweetness. Less coffee. Hints of plastic to the end. Very easy drinking stuff.

In der Nase fein Kaffee, im Trunk ebenso, etwas Schokolade, die hinten weg deutlicher wird. Bittersweet im Abgang, auch hier wieder Röstmalz. Gut, aber nicht überragend.
