Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Domagoj, thanks. Almost black coloured, small off-white head, caramel in the nose. Sweetish malty, light roasty, caramel and notes of chocolate with rather dry finish. Nothing special here.

300ml draught, shared with Finn at Taproom Berlin. Almost black in the glass, dissipating beige head, spotty lacing. Decent dark malty aroma with hints of cocoa. Mid-sweet dark malty flavours, impact of cocoa, nuts and chocolate. Nicely roasted ending. Clean and smooth in the mouth. Pleasant stuff. (Berlin 15.01.2018).

Bottle at home thanks to Secret Sinterklaas! Clear very dark brown with quite big dark beige head, lots of lacing. Licorice, quite some earthy notes, soft roast, molasses, sweet malts, some cocoa. It’s definately not that choco forward, more sweet dark malts and syrup. Some dead leaves, dusty nuts. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick sugary feel. It’s decent but I’m not very impressed.

330 ml bottle. Pours black/dark brown, medium foamy beige head. Burnt malt, caramel, dark chocolate, liquorice. Medium bitterness, some sweetness. Oily texture, full bodied, soft carbonated. Sweet finish. Very nice.

Slightly sour aroma with cocoa and pot coffee. Also ash. Flavour has cocoa, ash, tobacco and coffee. Slightly fizzy palate. A bit watery but good anyway.

Bottle [thanks RW80] @ home. Dark brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, indeed some chocolate. Taste malts, dark malts, chocolaty, a bit sweetish, cocoa powder. Decent body and quite soft carbonation. Not bad I'd say, quite nice.

Aus der Flasche im 2017-10 getrunken. Ein solides Bier doch eher ein Schwarzbier als ein klassisches Porter. Gut trinkbar.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, roast and yeast, with touches of oats and notes of chocolate. Bitterish, roasty onset, giving way to sweetish notes of chcocolate, malt and yeast, and touches of lactose. Estery and roasty aftertaste with hints of chocolate. Decent, if a little watery.
