ABV: 8.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, roasted, dark malt, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light warming. [20191009]

Tried as part of a keg vs cask blind tasting. Black colour with a thin head. Malty and chocolate aroma. Roar bitter taste. Full body. Preferred the keg. Slightly smoother.
