Canned (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Brown, close to black colour with a mediumsied off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is nutty, smoked wood, some sweet toffee and dark chocolate. Flavour follows the same pattern as the aroma. Nice one!

440 ml can, as Deep Creek Dusty Gringo Imperial Brown Ale, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 6.8%. Deep brown colour, large beige head. Lovely aroma of fruity and resinous hops, some malts and brown bread in the background. Malty flavour with some roast and toast and caramel, hints of chocolate, followed by resinous hops, with a fairly bitter finish.

Can. Clear deep brown body under a dense beige head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, toffee with some citric and pine hops. Taste is sweet malty, toffee, fruity and distinct bitter. Fine body and nice aftertaste. A nice and smooth, tasty hoppy brown ale.

23/2/2020. Can sample courtesy of Nisse666, cheers Thomas! Pours mid to dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus, tropical fruit, chocolate and roasted malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Roasted, chocolate finish.

En velfortjent 0,44 boks etter lapping av punktert sykkel, hjemme jan-20: en herlig duft av ferske granskudd/furunåler stiger opp i det jeg spretter boksen. Brunsvart med flott cremeskum som varer. Fyldig og lekker smak med mørke karamellsjokolader, ristet brød, saftig citrus og tørkede tropiske frukter. Nam, nam, dette er virkelig raske leker! Boksen var fra helsekosten i Verksgata. Bør kjøpe en til, mersmaken og drikkegleden var påtagelig.

440ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light smoky, charcoal, nutty. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, roasty, light caramel, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. An India Brown Ale is very much like a Black IPA it seems!

KØLF 011119. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, pine, grapefruit, pine, grapefruit, oranges, toffee, chocolate, bread. Nice beer.
