Can 44 cl. Black with a medium of white head. Aroma of hops, roasted malt and bread. Ligt bitter with a soft but nice toasted malt end with some fruit sense.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A big, beige head, slowly fading over a clear rosewood body, spotty lacing. Dark bread on the nose with brown malty sweetness. Rather rich taste of caramel malts, earth, hints of coffee and moments of ripe fruits towards the ending. Smoothly roasted. Fine depth. Good drinking. (Tromsø 23.02.2019).

Can. It pours a deep mahogany color, it's unclear, and topped by a two-finger thick beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is quite hop forward, piney, grapefruity and orangey, with some toffee, chocolate, dark bread and a meaty hint. It's quite hoppy on the palate too, more on the sweet side than the bitter side though, but there's lots of piney, citrusy hop flavors. Caramel, bread, chocolate and coffee from the malts. Full body and a nice carbonation level. The finish is rather bitter though, still with some sweetness, and lots of piney, grapefruity hops and a nice touch of orange. Overall, sure a fine brew, but I think the hops take too much control here. 190207

Boks fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Mørk dyprød. Høyt luftig mokkafarget skum som daler veldig sakte. Sukkertøyaroma. Smaken sukkertøy & nøtter. Litt karamell i ettersmaken.

Clear deep brown pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Fine lasting tail. Roast, bready, herbal some toffee in the flavor. Pleasant evening ale.
