This beer plays with the balance of dark chocolaty malt flavours and American citrusy and tropical hops. It's one of the original Deep Creek beers that's been perfected over the years.

This India Brown Ale is just big in every aspect and packs so much flavour and complexity yet still maintaining balance and drinkability.

Can shared in our van. Clear dark brown with big fluffy beige head. Milk chocolate, light roast, soft red berries, soft dank hops, grassy, soft grapefruit, light toffee. Medium sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium bodied. A bit weird that it’s light sour, but some nice malts.

Can. A red-brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, caramel, and nuts, leading to a bitter finish.

Can, 10C. Clear brown, loose pale beige head. Fat chocolate and toffee aroma with pine and some grapefruit and spices. Quite light bodied really. Tastes much as it smells but the bitterness is rather higher than expected from the aroma. There’s even a little booze at the end (which is a fair reminder that this is not quite quaffing strength). Cheerful number - no depth but no problems.

Re-rate - I found the hops a lot more balanced this time around. Maybe I got a bad batch... This one’s an American brown ale that could do with a little more balance. There’s a light nutty aroma with some marshmallow, peach and sharp lemon coming through. The biggest problem with this beer is that the hops are too bitter, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The malt is nice, but it’s overwhelmed by the hops and a little too much alcohol.

440ml can. Aroma is pine, chocolate biscuits and a little grapefruit. Flavour is very malty, lots of biscuit. Lots of pine and very bitter. Decent beer.
