Ruby, Hoppy, Caramel – full of rich caramel malts matched to American hops and just bursting with character In tribute to the Carfax. The name is likely of Norman origin – a corruption of ‘Quatre Voies’ (four ways) or ‘Carrefour’, a place where four roads meet. The Carfax was formerly known as “Scarfoulkes”, but is now fondly known as the heart of Horsham

20/3/2019. Cask at the Brewhouse & Kitchen, Horsham. Pours slightly hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, fruit, butter, grain and soap. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Some bitterness and slightly burnt finish. Best so far though hasn’t been much competition yet.
