Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Porterhouse. Clear amber coloured body, spotty lacing, diminishing pearl white head. Moderate taste of ripe fruits and caramel malts. Caramel fruity flavours, earthy and with moments of leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Pretty decent. (London, 29.09.2023).

Handpull cask at the Drawing Board, Leamington Spa. Strong iced tea and clear with a foamy off-white head. Strong malty aroma, some light sarsaparilla. Balanced taste with bittering hops cutting off any lingering sweetness in the initial taste. Light bitter citrus peel and a little bit of stone fruit in the aftertaste. Light body, soft carbonation. A very simple bitter done quite well.

Cask at the Purecraft Bar and Kitchen, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, malt, earthy, light floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Served rather cool which probably didn’t do justice to the beer.
