14/3/2019. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruit, citrus, malt and hops. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, hoppy finish.

Keg from the Real Ale Classroom, Lutterworth. 5% ABV so... not really a full-on IPA. Mid- to dark gold, hazy, with a massive thick off-white head. Lots of peach, tangerine and a bit of banana on the nose. Taste is bittersweet, slightly less intense than I was hoping from the aroma. The finish is short, and the heavy carbonation can't make up for the watery body. A mixed bag, but better than many pale ales and certainly worth trying.
