Bottled. Brownish black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is ginger, some toffee, roasted malts, chocolate, mild roasted malts and some dried fruits. Flavour is dried fruits, chocolate, roasted malts, ginger and some slight toffeeish notes.

11/12/2020. Bottle from Honest Brew. Pours black with a good size beige head. Aroma of sweet gingerbread, flapjack, chocolate, cinnamon, treacle, light coffee, lactose, and moderate roasting. Medium plus brown sugar sweetness and light bitterness. Full body, sticky texture, low carbonation. Soft, smooth, gentle ginger spice finish. Extremely drinkable. Enjoyed this.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Spicy and slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of ginger, cinnamon, some dark chocolate, whiffs of coffee. Taste is slightly dry, minimally sweet, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly spicy, hints of ginger and cinnamon, a touch of treacle. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation, lingering finish keeps all flavours alive. Very nice.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, ginger and cinnamon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 250818

Bottle at Craig's. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of cinnamon and vanilla, light chocolate. Taste had a rich oatiness. Chocolate, coffee. Fruity.

Bottle from Strait and Narrow, Lincoln. Deep chocolate brown colour almost black with a tan head. Aroma has warming ginger, dark toffee, and roasted malt. Taste coffee bitter and spic from the ginger. Full rich body.
