Bottle at the Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Jet black colour with a thin tan head. Aromabis spicy roasted malt and slight citrus. Taste spicy to mid sweet. Full rich body.

Cask at the Woodman; dark mahogany brown pour with a bubbly light beige head, mulled wine spices in the aroma, taste has nutmeg, clove, dark fruit, caramel, some wood.

Cask, on gravity at Bristol Beer Festival 13/3/2014. Dark brown with a slight beige head. Big, fruit cake character, with plenty of spice and a sweet edge, before a warming finish. Good.
