In 1902 the sixth Duke commissioned Cartier to make a tiara which the Duchess wore at the coronation of Edward VII that year. She was ‘Mistress of the Robes’, senior lady in the royal household, to Alexandra between 1913 and 1925.
We’ve created a luxuriously silky honeyed blonde beer with sweet malt and juicy New Zealand hops.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a bright golden amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has acstrong honey vibe – plus some fudge. Honey again in the mouth, along with a good dose of floral hops and a creamy texture. There’s an overall sweetness, but with some bitter undercurrents to keep things interesting. Later there are hints of butterscotch, nuts and autumn fruits. Finish is fruity and slightly bitter. This is rather nice.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 31/10/2019. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. An easy drinking pale ale, with some citrus character, sweetish tangerine fruits, hint of honeyed richness and moderately dry finish. Good.

Tried at the Golden Eagle,Lincoln. Hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Fruity and light honey aroma. Taste light honey sweet and a touch floral. Light body.
