Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Whisky barrel nose. Pitch black, barely visble ruby hue against the light, good frothy tan head, dissipating slowly, thin layer remains, no lacing. Rich aroma, roasted malts, cocoa, wood/oak, faint dark fruits, caramel, whisky. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, roasty malts, chocolate, dark fruits, light spicy notes, light dark fruits, some lactose, retronasal cocoa and alcohol. Full-bodied, oily to sticky texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and fruity notes, bit boozy in the finish, excellent stuff.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, some whisky, wood, chocolate and has a nice roasty whisky finish.

Bottle from KWM. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen and a tan head. Nose - caramel, dark chocolate and boozy edge. Taste - dark chocolate and caramel. Rum and raisins. Palate - full bodied, creamy in texture. Boozy finish but still fairly balanced. Overall - nice.

Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter nice finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle from KWM Wines. Black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, heavy caramel, light wood and light whisky. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted light bitter finish. Oily and soft. 150520
