500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy and citrusy aroma, spicy hints of hay, lemon and lime notes. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally strawy, biscuity pale malty basis, fruity hints of lemon and lime; light body, slightly watery. Quaffable and refreshing. [Original rating from 2013/12/22, as there were no seperate entries for bottled and cask version existent].

Bottle traded with Col and shared at the LRB. Poured gold/amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, malt, and fruit, Moderate sweetness/bitterness, good balance. Light/medium body with something of a creamy texture. Finish is dry, biscuity, caramel. Enjoyed this.

Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - golden amber with a thin head that disappears quickly. Nose - orange and red fruit. Bit of hobnob biscuit. Big crystal malt influence. Taste - more orange fruit and biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - would prefer more bittering hops though it does have some interesting notes. It should be under Bitter style rather than Golden Ale in my opinion.

Bottle from Local farm shop. Golden colour with little head. Citrus hop, Nd more of both in the mouth. Nice balance.
