Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - light caramel and lemon. General lemon curd thing going on. A touch of herbs. Taste - lemon and biscuit. Light ginger spice. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - a well executed bitter I thought.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/05/09. Golden with a slight, off-white head. Weird mix of summer fruits, chocolate and hay, with a touch of ash in the finish, Not for me.
